worth the money. nice. but the hole in the back is to deep for the peg you stick in it.my elite fell over on its back and jammed the peg so far in its impossible to retreave.other then that.
this figure here is impressive, yes it has its flaws, the wrists are fragile and it's really not for playing with like a kid would. im an artist my self so this comes in handy when wanting to draw the elite armor or something similar. I gotta say.
there is no leg hole for holding weapon, its a miss print on the box. i would get a few more just for fun if i had the cash to. the posing is acceptable and while not super fluid, can give you some pretty nice stances.
the plasma rifles and hands dont fit as well as the design would make you think, but this isn't a major problem if you don't mess with it alot.detail is wonderful and truly a treat even for the mild fan of halo.
He plays with it all the time. Great toy, his weapons stay in his hands which is very important when my 8 year old is playing good guys and bad guys.
The only qualm I have is the range of motion in the legs isn't great, but still, if you want action figures this is the way to go. The detail is great, and just in case you didn't know, the helmet, shoulder pads, and chest piece are removable. The kid I gave this to thinks it is the greatest thing.
I would recommend for more mature children, but would even stand up to younger hands. It's a shame to let the kids play with them, eventhough they really have fun. This is a well made, high quality action figure. This one and all made by McFarland are display ready.
Quite easy to lose that small piece of plastic.Otherwise, a good toy and looks good. In order for the character to hold the rifles in his hands, you need to remove the holding pegs. Just received this and one of the Master Chief variants.The Elite is really detailed and quite nice.The only downsides I have found with it are:1) The fins on the rear of the plasma rifles are fragile, if you drop it or the toy falls over, be sure to anticipate those fins getting broken/compressed.2) You can only store one of the rifles on the toy at a time. I can only find one peghole on the back.
